WildBulb terrarium Workshop

Curious about how we make our WildBulbs, uh? You're in for the perfect experience.

Learn it the WildBulb way.

Since 2024, we’ve been giving people the chance to roll up their sleeves and create their very own unique lightbulb terrariums. Sure, terrarium workshops have been all the rage lately, but nowhere else in the world will you find someone teaching you how to cram a miniature world into an actual lightbulb—and trust us, we’ve checked. Thoroughly.

Even if you’re a terrarium workshop veteran, this is your chance to learn a completely different technique using the most iconic of all lightbulbs: the A60. It’s like terrarium-making, but with a twist of “how on earth did they fit that in there?”

But wait, there’s more! This workshop isn’t just about getting your hands dirty—it’s a time machine. We’ll whisk you back to Victorian times, where a surgeon in London’s East End made an invention so groundbreaking, it lit the way for everything we’re doing now.

So grab your friends or rope in your team, and dive into this one-hour(-ish) lightbulb terrarium workshop. It’s crafting, storytelling, and just the right amount of quirk rolled into one.

Build the WB60

(Our bestseller)

The WB60 is where it all began. This iconic A60 lightbulb, once a staple in every home, now hosts a minimalist terrarium that puts the spotlight on the stunning fittonia, also known as the nerve plant. These colourful little beauties hail from South America—places like Peru—where they flourish in the rainforest. In our hands, they’ve found a new home inside a tropical-like ecosystem that mimics their natural habitat perfectly.

Surrounded by moss, bark, and decorative stones, this tiny landscape is designed to thrive all on its own, asking almost nothing from you. The only favour it needs? A nice, bright spot with indirect natural light.

And where should you show off such a quirky little wonder? Pop it on your desk, tuck it onto a shelf with other plants, or let it shine solo—it’s a conversation starter anywhere.

Each WB60 comes with its own handmade concrete stand and a custom box to keep it safe. And because we’re all about getting it home in one piece, we’ve got you covered with a sturdy paper bag and extra padding for the journey. Once it’s home, all that’s left to do is admire it!
